About us

Hope and Resilience Initiative (HRI) is a South Sudanese national, nonprofit and non-governmental organisation established in 2023 to deliver humanitarian and development assistance while strengthening the resilience, dignity and agency of vulnerable communities. HRI is currently implementing SSHF multi-sectoral projects in Fangak and Ulang counties targeting Community based WASH, Nutrition and Health education in collaboration with HFO. HRI places particular emphasis on youth, women, girls, persons with disabilities, displaced households, returnees, host communities and people facing the combined effects of conflict, poverty, climate shocks, displacement and limited access to basic services.

Our Projects

HRI is implementing Community Based WASH, Nutrition and Health in Fangak County under SSHF Reserve Allocation as Sub recipient from HFO which is the Lead Recipient

HRI is also implementing WASH, Nutrition and Health Project in Ulang County (Upper NIle) state under SSHF in facility base and community base
